Here is one that I think is ready for her ears and limbs to be attached. After that, she'll get some hair - a super cool hairstyle for a very special kid.
Right now, I'm waiting for the air erasable marker to disappear while I intermittently gaze at her face, making sure I don't want to work on her features any more. I think she's ready for her ears...
I just found your blog jumping from Beth's blog, By Hook and by Hand. I just love the vintage, nostalgic look of your dolls, so cute and heart-melting. I looked for an Etsy link but couldn't find one, you don't sell them? I wish I could make such adorable dolls...
OMG your dolls are sooo sweet-mine always look a little *ahem* If you ever sell your pattern (or would like to give it as a gift*smile*) i would like to have one...
Yes, I agree with KSG, I've been looking for a nice baby doll pattern, and these are beautiful! What type of material are you using for the doll bodies?
I love these dolls. Please, if you sell your pattern I would LOVE to purchase it. I've been looking all over for heads like these ones and can't seem to figure it out. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks biscuitbear! I don't sell any dolls (yet!). I'm still tinkering with a few things and working on a few additional patterns.
ReplyDeleteAnother enchanting doll in the making! Can't wait to see who she becomes :-)
ReplyDeleteBeth
So cute even without ears, hair and limbs.... She looks so sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you as always, Beth. I gave her a new hairstyle today. Once her Christmas clothes are finished, I'll post more pictures.
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you melafragola. I was inspired by a sweet child...in fact, the doll reminds me of her already.
She is so beautiful.....the sweetest and most innocent little face. x
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think your dolls are quite sweet, too.
